Using coupons is easy once you get the hang of it. When I first started, I wondered, how is a .35c or .50c coupon going to help me save any real money?
It does, if you know WHEN to use it.
For example: Buying a 12oz bottle of French's Mustart at regular price of $2.50 (depending on where you live) minus the .50c coupon in the paper, would make it .50c.
BUT... If you wait until the sale (the most recent GOOD one, they were 10/10 and when you bought 10 items, you got $5 off, making them .50c each. Minus your .50c coupon, makes them FREE!! If you then get several coupons, and buy 10 or 15 of them (depending on the expiration date) you could stock up enough for an entire year, or at least until the next great sale. So, why would you pay $2.50 for something that you can get free with coupons?
If you match your coupons with these sales, you will inevitably get most items very cheap, or free.
There are some items that I absolutely refuse to pay even 1 penny for. Cereal, mustard/ketchup, bandaids/bandages, toothbrushes or any trial size anything. Why would I?

This potluck, you may choose to have inserts, non-inserts or both. It will include MIR's and at least 1 TMF.
Shopper- This potluck is 4 stamps. It will weigh no less than 1.8oz. It will have up to 2 multiples of each coupon, exp dates no earlier than 1 1/2 months so you have plenty of time to shop with them. This potluck includes insert and non-insert coupons, plus MIR's.
Saver- This potluck is 3 stamps. It will weigh no less than .8oz. It will have 1-2 of each coupon, exp dates no earlier than 30 days from mailing, so you have time to use for "next weeks sales" This potluck includes insert and non-insert coupons
